Hi my name is Mhairi and I show, judge and breed the wonderful dog that is the Labrador Retriever. I have owned them for 20 years now.
I first came into the dog world by walking my neighbour’s dogs as I was not allowed one when I was younger. I took them all to obedience classes, we must have had the best behaved dogs in the neighbourhood. But once I had my own home well that’s a whole different story!
I have always been interested in the health and welfare of animals and when I was given the opportunity to do my own small bit, I jumped at it.
Not only that but as a breeder, I think it is a must to be able to identify an animal so that in the event of it getting lost or stolen then it can be easily identified and returned.
